before you apply.
You do not need all the answers today. Use these questions to compare your options and prepare for a useful conversation.
1. What do I want this education to help me do?
Write down your subject interests, longer term goals and the kind of learning environment you want. For a school enquiry, include your child’s needs and your family’s priorities.
2. What will the full commitment cost?
Ask about tuition, accommodation, daily living, travel, insurance and applicable application or visa fees. Separate institution costs, third-party charges and the fees for any optional services. Ask which figures are estimates.
3. What must I confirm before applying?
Ask the institution or consultant about current entry requirements, language requirements, documents and intended intake. Check dates for the specific program rather than assuming they are the same everywhere.
4. What support is actually available to me?
Ask which services are currently available for your destination and which are planned. For Malaysia settlement packages, confirm inclusions, time limits and outside providers. Korea settlement is outside FPM’s current scope.
5. What am I agreeing to, and who makes the final decisions?
Ask for the scope and fees of any paid support before agreeing. Confirm who handles each step. Admission and visa decisions belong to institutions and authorities, so guidance cannot guarantee an outcome.
